From the "Credit where it's due" file.

When she's right, she's right...
Michele Bachmann tried Saturday to peel away support from Ron Paul by repeatedly warning voters across northwestern Iowa that he would be “a very dangerous president.”
No doubt.

Why, a President Paul would be every bit as dangerous as a President Bachmann, or Gingrich, or Romney, or Santorum, or Perry.

Or Huntsman, for that matter.

Which would be very dangerous, indeed.

Hey, at least he'd bring home all the troops. That's what most concerns Representative Bachmann and Rick Santorum.

With former governor Huntsman, it's hard to say what he'd do that would be that much different than the current president. He had a piece in the Wall Street Journal of what he'd do, but for some reason, none of it seemed particularly memorable. He did, after all, work for the president as ambassador to China.

All the pundits still figure that Mitt Romney will get the nod. But then, back in the fall of '67, a lot of people thought his dad would get the GOP nod in the coming year.

It's going to be a long year, coming up.
